Pretty Edgy, Tough Romance, Warrior Princess

Alexa here. It’s Fashion Week (yes, again) in New York and the babes are everywhere, some simmering and other sizzling.

In my brief survey of the runways, we see nothing revolutionary — New York fashion is not known for being conceptual.

New Viewpoint

I have a different perch in my fashion career today, one that straddles design and the truly erotic, in all its manifestations.

My clients and I have watched this forward march of the Warrior Princess for several years now.

This fashion style captures the sensual dilemma I mention often in my writing: good girl/bad girl … an attitude that goes downmarket faster than dropping your diamond down the kitchen sink.

Next thing you know … you’re on your hands and knees in the garbage, trying to find your precious, once-brilliant stone and polish it back to its original luster.

Now that I’ve finally launched BuzzNoir, I look at hundreds of women on their knees. Daily, endless, incredible numbers of women on their knees, thighs wide open, p—— inviting us to take a good look. I see women in a wide variety of sexual poses — from living/breathing porcelain sex goddess to degraded, wretched whore.

The adult industry is known for leading the way on technology innovation. Until now, it hasn’t led a beauty or imagery of women revolution.

Truce in the Future

Fashion and Adult were like the War of the Roses … throwing hissy fits at each other one moment, and clinging wildly to each other on the chandelier the next.

Bottom line, these two worlds are moving closer together with each faked/real orgasm, a blurring of the “What’s Sexy Now” lines that’s the cornerstone of my consulting business.

Now that I’m an Adult Insider, rather than an outsider blessed with a vivid imagination, I’m totally convinced that the Adult world will become a stronger voice in the future of fashion and women’s lifestyle imagery.

I’ll explain why another day, but the seeds of my thinking are in contained in this next sequence of slides. Remember, the Internet blurs geographic boundaries.
